Battle of ants is a series of paintings that explore information from different sources like white noise, the sound of waterfalls, the movement of water; as well as the cosmic microwave background, which is a form of energy remanent from the Big Bang. This is a continuation of a 2018 project that explored the poetic possibilities of noise in relation to the origins of the universe.
The paintings were made with the help of a machine programmed to interpret and map information into strokes of paint.
