The idea of transforming a list of words into a vast library made of wooden blocks was born, like many collections,
from a whimsical image of accumulation.
I sent to hundreds of potential collaborators to give names to these “books”, which were to be inspired by impossibilities and contradictions. Most collaborators suggested ideas hard to contain in a book, which made the work successful.
