Oil on canvas painted by a ma
90 x 70 cm
I programmed a CNC machine to paint oil on canvas, using samples of white noise generated from various sources like old televisions and telecommunication antennas.
The electric impulses are translated into strokes of paint. The qualities of each painting are determined by the machine’s ability to translate (or to inscribe) the signals coming from the antenna, as well as by the way in which the artist interacts with the machine.
